These terms and conditions set out the basis on which London Driving Force Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides driving tuition and related services to you. By booking a lesson or course with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully and keep a copy for your records.
1. About us
London Driving Force Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17292688, with a registered office at Two Oaks, 67 London Road, Rugby, Warwickshire, England, CV23 9JB. You can contact us at bikram19861@gmail.com.
2. Definitions
- “Pupil” means the person receiving driving tuition.
- “Instructor” means the driving instructor delivering tuition on our behalf.
- “Lesson” means a single booked period of tuition.
- “Block booking” means a number of lessons bought together in advance.
3. Eligibility and pupil responsibilities
Before and during each lesson, the pupil must:
- Hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence and bring it to the first lesson on request.
- Be able to read a number plate at the legal eyesight distance, with glasses or contact lenses if needed.
- Be fit to drive and not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that affects the ability to drive safely.
- Tell us about any medical condition, disability, or other matter that could affect their ability to drive or to learn safely.
The instructor may refuse to start, or may end, a lesson if the pupil does not meet these requirements or behaves in a way that is unsafe, threatening, or abusive. In these cases the lesson may be charged in full.
4. Booking and payment
- Lessons may be booked by phone, email, or through this website, and are confirmed once we agree a date and time with you.
- Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking. Block bookings are paid for in advance.
- Prices are confirmed with you before booking. We may change our prices from time to time, but a change will not affect lessons you have already paid for.
5. Cancellation and rescheduling policy
We understand that plans change. To keep lessons fair for everyone, the following notice periods apply.
- If you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. With this notice there is no charge and the lesson can be moved to another time.
- If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, or if the pupil is not ready at the agreed time and place, the lesson may be charged in full.
- If the pupil is not present within 15 minutes of the agreed start time, the lesson may be treated as a missed lesson and charged in full.
- If we need to cancel or rearrange a lesson, we will give you as much notice as we can and will offer an alternative time or a refund of any payment made for that lesson.
6. Block bookings, refunds and expiry
- Lessons within a block booking remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- If you wish to cancel unused lessons from a block booking, we will refund the unused lessons at the per lesson rate that applied, less any discount that was applied to the block.
- Gift vouchers and introductory offers may have their own conditions, which we will make clear at the time of purchase.
7. The driving test
- The pupil is responsible for booking and paying for the official theory and practical driving tests, unless we agree otherwise.
- Use of our car for the practical test is by prior agreement and is subject to the pupil reaching, in the instructor’s reasonable opinion, a suitable standard to take the test safely.
- We may decline the use of our car for a test if we believe the pupil is not ready, in the interest of safety.
8. Our cars and insurance
Our tuition cars are maintained, insured for tuition, and fitted with dual controls. In the rare event that a booked car is unavailable, we will arrange a suitable alternative or rearrange the lesson.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. Complaints
We want every pupil to have a good experience. If something is not right, please contact us at bikram19861@gmail.com and we will do our best to put it right promptly.
11. Data protection
We handle your personal data in line with our privacy policy, which explains your rights and how we use your information.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book is the version that applies to your booking.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
